To perform remote support for Inactive Fault Checking and Clearance (DTCs) , we follow a simple and efficient process:

  1. Equipment Configuration : In order for us to connect to the truck's system, the customer will need a diagnostic interface with OBD2 connection and internet access. We will assist the customer in choosing and installing this equipment, if they do not already have it. Once configured, this device allows remote access to the vehicle's electronic system.

  2. Scheduling and Remote Connection : After the customer connects the diagnostic interface to the truck's OBD2 socket, our technical team schedules a remote support session. At the agreed time, we initiate the connection and take control of the diagnostic tools, allowing secure access to the vehicle's system.

  3. Fault Code Verification and Elimination : Once the connection is established, our team performs a complete analysis of the recorded fault codes, especially inactive DTCs. We verify and print these codes, identifying possible fault histories that are no longer active. We then eliminate these records so that only current faults continue to be monitored, facilitating future maintenance and avoiding confusing diagnoses.

  4. Customer Guidance : During the process, our team remains in direct contact with the customer, explaining each step and providing guidance on how to use the tools, ensuring that the customer fully understands what is being done. Once the support is complete, we offer guidance to ensure that the system continues to function perfectly.

This remote support offers convenience and savings , as it avoids travel and reduces maintenance time, in addition to ensuring that the vehicle's electronic system is always up to date and cleared of inactive codes.
